hard to fit on a single DVD ???
this means one thing and one thing only : HD MOVIES for all fighters !!!!!
SWEETTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTT

HD movies could easily fit on a 6.8GB disc. Bluray quality video is overload and you don't need the stupid bitrates you see on a bluray disc. Also Bluray video has to follow certain standards and there is a lot of waste. The 360PS3 are more than capable of playing back h264 without GOP lengthkey frame etc limitations blah blah.

You can get HD quality video from a fresh source that is CGI (i.e no grain) at 5-6mbit easily using h264 (mpeg4avc).

That would mean they must have a 1 12 hour of video in HD + allowing about 4GB for game data which is a massive amount for a fighter, (I believe Soul Calibur 4 including ALL HD video was 4.5GB roughly) to even come close to making such a stupid claim - not a chance.

Soul calibur didn't really have any FMVs and not only that. Most cutscenes were the same reused with different chars... and all ingame. IE scripted.. so soul calibur being 4.5 gigs. Now imagine you have 2 hours of fmv cutscenes.. and more.. since tekken games are usually more than soul calibur (Atleast soul calibur 4. That game was lacking)
