If it is beating the most popular console in the world 5 weeks in a row in their home country with games like RE5, Yakuza 3, and White Knight Chronicles when it costs $150.00 more. There's every reason to believe that a $300.00 PS3 (which would cost only $50.00 more) with games like Gran Turismo and Final Fantasy that always sell millions of copies in Japan, would do even better.
