I'd show them something like Guitar Hero or Wii Sports first, to get them interested, then move onto something like GTAIV to show them how sophisticated games can be. THEN, I'd show them the classics.

C'mon. You put FF6 or Ocarina infront of someone who's never played a game before or has a low opinion of them, they'll just think games are stupid.
