Well, it depends on what you're interested in beyond just an action RPG. Dark Cloud 2 is very much centered around aspects of the game besides the combat, with lots of surprisingly well designed minigames (most notably the highly overhauled Georama system). It's a very diverse experience, but if you want a more pure action RPG experience, then Kingdom Hearts 2 delivers in spades. Very little of KH2 isn't combat-related.
