@ali : no they can't think about that, that's too complicated for them as an idea.

@RAZ : ah ah of course they could stop with gaming, that's not at all their core business and they already lost billions on Xbox 1.

Sony have lost even more in a shorter space of time with less consoles and games sold.

They have nothing except Halo as franchise. Gears is from Epic and could go 3rd party.

So you're basically saying MGS doesn't count either?

And Forza is a dwarf compared as Gran Turismo as a franchise, it's the poor man's GT actually. Go watch sales numbers, GT franchise sold dozens of millions worldwide...

Living in the past much? Gran Turismo hasn't been relevant since 2004, it was Sonys last blockbuster. It's not surprising really, the last 2 Forza games outscored the last 2 Gran Turismos, and the last one out sold it. GT just isn't what it used to be, but then neither is Playstation.

MS can't buy GT and GoW since it's Sony owned, and that's too bad since they're the two biggest franchises.

Fable's a bigger franchise then god of war now, plus it's going to continue, god of war 3 is it, the end and Sony won't have anything.
Truth is Sony has a much bigger enemy than the 360 and the Wii; Redundancy.
Even Nintendo had multiple massive triple-A must have exclusives last gen on the Gamecube, Sony doesn't even have one. The markets a really brutal place, they need to start making more culturally relevant titles with blockbuster market value, then just bundling filler titles.
