Just as any consumer would want their product they bought to be the best. When you feel you made the right purchase you want to know that no one else can stand up to it. The insecurity ppl often feel is that they might have made a bad purchase and want to justify themselves by saying the other products out there stink. Which sometimes is the true bases fo being a fanboy. It goes for any system a person buys. In a perfect world everyone would have all the systems and no one would ever bash. But this isn't a perfect world.....
