Yeah, the 360's install base will be pretty much irrelevant to publishers in Japan because they will have seen from Tales of Vesperia and Star Ocean that Japanese games just don't generate much money in Japan on the 360 in regards to what they do and will have the potential to do on the PS3 over there at the end of this year when the PS3 to 360 ration in Japan will be 5-7:1.  So after FF Versus XIII releases in June of 2010 exclusively on PS3 in Japan there will be no more exclusive jrpgs coming to the 360.

The numbers don't back up your "wish", a 5:1 ratio must be:

6.5 Millions for the PS3

1.3 Millions for the 360

A 7:1 ratio should look like:

9.1 Millions for the PS3

1.3 Millions for the 360

Look at the front page and try to think about it for a few minutes...

Where is the 360 going to come up with 300,000 consoles sold in Japan this year?  It took it over 3 years to sell 1 million units there and last week its sales dropped all the way down to 3,600 units.  It's sales will probably be sub 3,000 units next week, so where is it going to come up with 300,000 units sold this year?

Heavens to Murgatoids.
