Those "facts" are made up of pure speculation due to the succes of a couple last gen games, if you look for actual data, you can`t back up a similar bump of 7:1, 6:1 or 5:1... the games are selling and selling good, but the hardware doesn't follow a similar path...

No they are not. I can go back all the way to PS1 days to show staggering sales for Gran Turismo games and at the least all the way back to SNES days to show staggering sales for Final Fantasy games.

The sales of past generations games are no a great way to predict the sales of the current generations consoles... just look the PS3 vs PS2 time frames and sales data. Like I said, the software will sell like the previous iterations, but the hardware jump is not going to be the same.
