Actually, the worst part of thread is that it is based on the assumption that DEVELOPERS would see the situation this way. I doubt that developers will place enormous faith in future PS3 sales, due to the backlash that came with the relative failure of PS3 against its predecessor's sales. It may not have killed the PS3, but it will definitely keep developers from looking at anything but the 3 million consoles that have been sold up until now when making platform decisions.
