There haven't been that many great Japanese games released for the PS3 yet this gen other than the Yakuza games and MGS4. And those two are in no way as high profile as Gran Turismo 5 and two main series Final Fantasies. However, when those three games release you will see tremendous sales in Japan for the PS3. There is no reason to think it won't reach 5 million by the end of 2009 now that the games that people have been waiting for since 2006 are finally being released.
