The PS3 can surpass KZ2's gfx, it already has with Uncharted 2 and Heavy Rain. However, I have my doubts about the 360. imo it has reached its peak, gfx wise, with GeOW 2 and perhaps Alan Wake.

You actually think KZ2 is PS3/360 Graphical high point? So the PS3 was a waste if it got maxed out this fast? Jeez.

Do I necessarily believe it's the graphical high point?  No.  Do I think that this statement is very poorly worded?  Yes.  The graphics will improve over time, a bit. (As developers get more comfortable with the system). 

With that being said,  the 360 is going on it's 4th year on the market.  If you think the graphics of ANY new game coming out for it are going to 'easily' surpass what is currently the best graphics on either console?   You're an idiot.    The differences will be negligible and hardly will 'easily' surpass anything. 

This is ESPECIALLY true for the 360.  A system which is known to be 'simple' to develop for (And has been from day one) and is a full year older.  The PS3 actually stands a better chance of noticeable improvement because of developers finally getting comfortable with the architecture and better dev kits.

 

And what 360 game at this juncture (Or in the future) appears to 'easily'  surpass KZ2 in the graphics department?  Alan Wake?  (We haven't even looked at 360 Screenshots yet).  

Time will tell,  I bet KZ2 stands for quite sometime as the graphical champion of FPS on the consoles.

 

*sigh. Please at least try to come up with a decent reason to quote me the wrong way. We were not talking about it being easy in the way of it being hard or easy as in difficulty for programmers.

Its English, and saying something will "easily" happen means the chances are very high.

See; Alan Wake. Hur durr, Killzone 2 isn't "easily", written in your context, surpassed by Uncharted 2.

I cant believe there really are people out there who think the 360 is maxxed out. This isn't even sad anymore....
