 In many ways it is a joke of sorts, its a third format that will supposedly be debuting on the market to compete with Blu-Ray and HD-DVD. It's 10Xs cheaper than Blu-Ray with 30GB of space, doesn't have terrible loading times and seems to be an all around pretty appealing compromise of next gen HD media and what the consumer wants. The initial player for it said to be launched at $150. There are already some studios supporting it. I don't have the link with all the info but if someone else could find it that would be cool.
