for the LOTR worrier, don't forget HD-DVD can do double and triple layer, 30gig DLs are becoming more common all the time. Im sure 30gig is more than enough for a 3.5 hour movie. Ive seen a HDTV rip of TTEE in 720p and it looks awesome and thats only 8GB.
When they come out in a HD box set ill be buying them and a player.
