Would it be in the 360's best interest for MS to pull it out of Japan?

So you are expecting PS3 to sell 50 million in Japan to prove its not a failure, while 360 must sell 1 million, to prove its not a failure.

 

I'm comparing the 2 companies console sales from last generation to this one.

One has doubled it's install base and therefore moved forward and the other is way down on sales from last time.

Whilst Xbox360 sales are not huge I would think Microsoft are a lot happier than Sony.
