Actually 6-8 hours is par for all of the games in the Halo series. Usually the replay value more then makes up for it. With three true difficulties, four player Co-op, and a flexible scheme the average player should find a lot of main game time. Each of those should radically effect the experience. Playing with friends, or fighting truly more intelligent foes then the first go through should be a interesting experience. That will beg the player to take it for another spin.

Do people actually look for bullet holes in Halo. I am usually far too busy saving myself from a shield depleted death, or trying desperately to find cover from a dozen opponents. Not a feature missed if it gives me another three frames a minute. Which is an absolute must for a perfect experience.
