I know the blurriness can be a drag, but you'd trade it in rather than easily tweaking the resolution? I mean, many games run at 720p anyway so it's not like this is that big of a deal. on the XMB (I'm citing this off the top of my head so bear with me if it's not exactly right)- Settings > Display settings > Video output settings > HDMI > Custom > and simply uncheck 1080i and 1080p. It'll then make the switch to that resolution and the screen will go blank for a few seconds before it comes back to ask you if you want to keep those settings. Lastly, it'll then ask you if you want to edit your audio settings, but you can just say no if it's already set to how you want it. |
I appreciate you taking the time to explain how, but I already knew that. It's the principle of the thing. I shouldn't have to change my settings just to make a game play the way it should have in the first place. I was already thinking about getting rid of it anyway. This just sealed the deal. I may actually keep the second one, however. I dunno.
Keep this in mind when reading what I type...
I've been gaming longer than many of you have been alive.
