Why Microsoft is afraid of Sony

I recall in one of MS's PR statements, they pretty much said they don't see beating the Wii, but now believe they are a firm second place.

Although I remember MS's PR (Or Bill Gate's more specifically) statement some time before that one was "We'll win this gen," and look how that turned out :P
