Yes, but MGS4 has Sony trademarked itemsin the game itself, much like MGS3 and the monkeys from Ape Escape. In MGS4, Snake uses a Sixaxis to control the little robot thing that Otacon gives him.

 Those things would be easy to change, they are no guarantee of exclusivity. Personally I dont know or care where MGS goes as I dont really like the franchise.
