Beyond that, why does it bother some of you guys so much, the developer said it would run slightly better on PS3. Why is that so awful?

Trust me, the differences are so minute that this comparison is really over doing it. To me though, I liked the look of the PS3 version more, colors were more vibrant and the textures seemed sharper, and that's my opinion after playing both demos side by side. Frankly, this comparison would NOT make me pick the PS3 version any slower. Those who are buying it on PS3, you have nothing to worry about

I've never understood "graphical comparisons" and why people get in such a tizz. They get blown up so much I expect one console to have stickmen and the other to have real life folks but instead you just get differing lightings on different consoles, but ho hum still ain't getting the game, controls felt weird to me.
