Not gonna happen, because basically everyone already has a PS2. There have been a lot of hand-me-downs - I tried to give away my last PS2, and no one wanted it (true!).
There will be a temporary sales spike, then it will settle down to similar levels.
Its had a great 10-year run, we'll done PS2...
