Misconception: Prices in US $ and € are comparable by simple currency conversion, which gives you the right to bitch that you're getting ripped off or that Sony/MS/Nintendo make much more profit from Europe than USA.
Reality: European prices include VAT while American ones don't. So please divide European prices by 1.2 before converting to US $. (based on VAT being around 20%).
