This thread sure has done alot since I posted once...it's a good read too, interesting in differing views of many people here on the website.

Justifications of beliefs come up in conversations between me and my religious friends a lot, I am confirmed in the CoE but do not feel bound to it, God and christianity have no impact on my life in anyway. Because of this I understand the meaning of God in Christianity and Christian's minds, I also see it from a more atheist view. I try and ask my friends why they believe as they do why I don't. It's usually just a case of faith vs logic.

But I wouldn't remove myself from the CoE records though. They have my name on file, big deal, so does my work (and they have my bank details), so does the Government and they have a lot more details. My Church has my name and date of birth at best. I don't get junk mail from them and I hold no personal grudge.

Hmm, pie.
