I'm currently playing Sonic Rush Adventure and all I can say is that if you liked Sonic Rush, go for it. I find the pseudo-RPG elements a bit annoying, and sea navigation superfluous...The story? I'm skipping everything. And by everything I mean everything, these critters are way too talkative, and I couldn't care less about what's going on, why Sonic has crashed into an island, and why there's a Pirate Robotnik or whatever.
I'd rather have a straight platform game, with minimal story and no stylus fluff like the watercraft levels. But when it comes to the platforming, this is as good as Sonic Rush, and hence a very decent 2D Sonic game. There are less bottomless pits this time, so I'm finding it a bit easier, but in the end, there's a lot of fast-paced fun to be had with this title.
