:DSman said: The Wii still has untapped potential: No price drop No new colors No refresh (if there is like DS > DSL > DSi) Not all 1st party games (Kirby, a Wii exclusive Zelda) have been released No Wii-Motion plus yet (not sure if this will help or not)
I think Wii will win and I hope it wins (go Nintendo!) but hey time will tell. |
Don't forget some major third party releases coming (MH3, Tales of Gracia, DQ X, SW3 and so on). This stuff will mostly help in Japan, but it's not like the Wii needs help in the West lol.
The Wii will beat the PS2, no problem. The only people who don't think this are the only ones who don't want it to happen :3

The bold above = true words spoken.
Everyone is also bringing up an excuse that Nintendo's next console will automatically kill Wii sales, despite no evidence of this ever happening before among Nintendo's consoles. Even the Gamecube moved a few units after the release of the Wii.

It's just simple logic. If Nintendo pushes out a new product sooner rather than later. They will prematurely take the wind out of the Wii's sails. The only possible hitch with Nintendo's plan is that having really outdated Hardware might mean that replacing their console comes sooner than previous generations have.
