If we were stuck together by "national pride and American values," then why did we need an attack on our soils to do that? To expand on an idea presented by Onyxmeth, the Nazis were united in national pride and German values (whatever that's supposed to mean anyways). And while I could just rip apart your sentence sentence by sentence, I find it rather pointless. For something who has been incredibly one-sided, constantly ripping on people with different viewpoints, you all of a sudden claim you're for a united America and togetherness? If there was a company that sold bullcrap, their stock would be soaring. And I don't understand the rationale besides getting together. So we feel united for a day or two and have fun with our celebration. What after that? We go back to our normal routine, of course. It won't prove or change a thing. And the whole thing about the anarchist state was so hilarious I accidentally bumped my head on my desk while laughing. So if you don't get together to remember a date when we were united in fear, the U.S. will have a future of anarchy and chaos? What do we have now then? I'm not even sure why people follow this. If you really want to help the U.S., go to the shopping mall. The country will be fine without unification through fear. |
We didn't but we are always too preoccupied to come together.
Because to Treaty of Versailles pushed them to hyperinflation and revolution but that is different from the 9/11 situation.
I have many Democratic friends who support me for who I am and what I stand for even though they don't like Republicans. It is about transcendance. Also, the corp you mentioned exists: it is called fertilizer companies and they do all right, btw!
Order and law amid a reorganizing period. I am referring to something that most Americans cannot comphrehend...a Civil War II or Second American Revolution. I would have thought that most liberals would be up on their history for this to be readily understood, ie France (of all countries) for example.
Bush said the same exact thing after 9/11.
