Here are the reasons I haven't bought an XBox360 again: 1. XBox Live Gold - What a joke. When all you are paying for is the ability to play games using someone else's connection, it's ridiculous that they make you pay for it. Can you imagine the uproar if Valve decided to charge $40/year for Steam? 2. Proprietary hardware - Let me use my current bluetooth headset, instead of spending $50 for yours. Let me stick in a 320GB HDD for $50 instead of spending $100 for a 60GB. 3. Lack of built-in wifi - Seriously, even the DS has it. The DS has wifi and your home console doesn't. And while these next 3 won't stop me from getting an XBox360, they annoy me: 4. D-pad - Fix it. Fix it. Fix it. Fix it. It's easily the worst d-pad ever made. 5. Power brick is ugly. |
1. Not a big fan of the comparison but yeah I get your point.
2. Good point though I guess it enables the 360 to be sold cheaply.
3. Again very good point but again see above.
4. Yep it is pretty bad. I shouldn't have to fork out more money for a decent d-pad featuring a decent. I'm surprised nothing has been done about it.
5. Yeah it is but mine is well out of the way so I never see it. In fact you've just reminded me it has one.
