well, people want games faster than what's realisticly possible.

I know I'm starting to get upset at how long Tales of Ten is taking even though I bought Vesperia just in December.

Hell, just look at Zelda Wii.  By the end of this year, it'll have been three years since the last Zelda before a new one was even ANNOUNCED.

Traditional Zelda titles appear on other consoles than just the Wii. We have had another on the DS and an announcement for a new one just days ago. The same cannot be said for Final Fantasy.
