Playstation has always ment real gaming for me. The Playstation 1 was the first console that really got me into gaming, while Playstation 2 further increased my interest for gaming, and made me realise how much I loved games with good stories, many characters with different personalities and great music. Now, the successor of these two consoles had a lot of expectations. The Playsation 3! It certainly has blown my mind so far! With great library of different kinds of exclusives (LBP, Uncharted, KZ2, MGS4 for instance). A bit weak at start with features, but definately improved a lot over time. Free online gaming, great menu, Blu-Ray. And I loved the trophy system :)
This console certainly met my expectations, and even passed them. Not the price part though, that were a let down, and I think very many agree on that. Although for the ones that bypassed the trial of the high price, I doubt there is almost anyone that regret their purchase. I feel sorry for everyone that was affected by weak Blu-Ray drives. But that number don't even match the Heating problems of the Xbox 360, which I also feel sorry.
I'm quite looking forward to games such as God of War III, Heavy Rain, Uncharted 2 and Final Fantasy Versus XIII. And of course the multiplatfom games such as Tekken 6, FF XIII and probably more.
The Playstation series has always satisfied me. And the Playstation 3 is no exception.
