The price was too damn high before it even launched. They just expected people to bend over backwards to get a PS3. And they did...on launch day. Talking about lowering the price at this point isn't going to mean anything until it happens, and only if it's a real price drop and not another bait-and-switch. At this point I find it hard to take what they say seriously; there's always some twist in the end.
