LOL, really? I have seen a few people say that they didn't feel that FF7 deserves as much acclaim as it has gotten, but I have never seen anyone say that it sucked outright. I have seen people say that about Halo 3 and WoW.

Almost every FF thread turns into a battle between FF6 lovers and FF7 lovers.. it's the circle of life here on VGChartz...

Personally, I think people just don't like change.  The oldest FF fans think the series died with FFVII, and many of these plus the ps1-era fans think FFXII is an asbolute abomination.  This obviously isn't true for everybody, but it seems true for the ardent detractors of one game or the other.

My first FF was FFX, and I only played it around half a year ago.  I really liked it, and I enjoyed FFXII as well, though I've yet to finish that one.
