House of the Dead sold nicely indeed, almost a million. I guess there's a certain public of light gun games on the Wii, but that still comes into shooter territory (oh, and week 7+ were holidays period, see how it tapers in japan but grows in NA and EU)

And Star Wars duels? One of the biggest brands, plus the idea of dueling with lightsabres using wiimote motions.

Nice sales in both cases, but I still think they don't tell us squat about the sales of Madworld.
Somewhat more comparable games: No More Heroes, Okami, Godfather (?), Tenchu (?)
I can't find many examples, sadly, but I don't see any evidence of "legs"

Please note that I'm not dissing the game... its PAL gimping angers me, but I'll probably pick it up later when it's cheaper. And its sales aren't great, but even great games like Okami did worse.
It's just that I think this "Wii legs" thing is a myth if taken at face value in general.
