Oh, Mary, why. "Most of you"? Do you think that Wii owners are somehow apart from you? You do realize I own a 360 too, right? And I'm going to own a PS3 as soon as I can afford it? Don't subscribe to the "us vs. them" mentality, it doesn't facilitate communications and obscures any point you're trying to make. Secondly, no, you owuldn't be right even then, since your original point was about "buyers". The fact that Wii Fit has more than halfway kept pace with the system itself since launching is testament to the fact that the older demographic on this thing is gigantic. Thirdly, the language in the second one is potentially ambiguous, yes, but only in between "owners" and "players", not "owners" and "buyers". More than that, it's not actually being carried by a news site - don't just look at the headline. The first two articles I posted were from a press release that Nintendo put out, so, you know! There you go. |
Ow guy, hold it. I ment, most of you Wii owners. I could have said most of Wii owners. Since I know you are in that cathegory, I said most of you. I didn't say most of you Wii owners are bad. Au contraire. I like the female sex.
Secondly, I don't see the actual quote that says owners or players ( I presume owners is determined by buyers though, or that the difference is small), nor is there a link to the demographic data, that's why I call that news basically just a title. Plus, I don't have more faith in news sites than in non news sites cause many many times, the reporters are not the most clever or they just don't care. Same as with every casual/short news on any media.
