slightly doesnt mean shit, basicly the pictures to me are too close too call. either way it seems that this engine will make very good looking games on both systems :)

This is the truth. Who cares if one manages to outdo the other one slightly. That's not really a big advantage. Besides, I wouldn't care if an xbox-game ran slightly better or worse as long as my game does what it's supposed to do.

However, it is quite funny to see some people state that it doesn't mean a lot because it's only "slightly" better when comparisons show that a 360 game slightly plays better than a ps3 game, because then it's often "LOLZ @ Cell" or "Xbox superiority confirmed" and stuff like that.

To the people upgrading this because it is in the favour of their console, while they would downplay it were it for the other console: lolz

to the people downplaying this because it is not in the favour of their console while they would upgrade it if it were for the other console: lolz

So.... basically everybody in the thread.  Seriously, do we still care about marginal graphical differences?  A few thousand extra polys will not make a bad game good, and better anti-aliasing will not make an already frustrating game any more fun to play. Isn't that what's most important?

And @ MikeB:  I seriously doubt this engine will lead to more exclusives for PS3.  It would be most helpful to those "low level" developers who you suggested were having trouble with cell development, but 29 million is a number they just can't ignore.
