I know, can't you spot attempt at humor? It does say that most of you are women though.
Thank you for the next two links. First one, same Title news, different site. Says "average Wii player is 29". Second comes to save the day. Says "Average Wii owner is 29". And gives a name to the quote. So, which is it, since it's clear that it's the same news/story, but different interpretation. And if it's the average Wii owner number, that I'm right :P. |
Oh, Mary, why.
"Most of you"? Do you think that Wii owners are somehow apart from you? You do realize I own a 360 too, right? And I'm going to own a PS3 as soon as I can afford it? Don't subscribe to the "us vs. them" mentality, it doesn't facilitate communications and obscures any point you're trying to make.
Secondly, no, you owuldn't be right even then, since your original point was about "buyers". The fact that Wii Fit has more than halfway kept pace with the system itself since launching is testament to the fact that the older demographic on this thing is gigantic.
Thirdly, the language in the second one is potentially ambiguous, yes, but only in between "owners" and "players", not "owners" and "buyers". More than that, it's not actually being carried by a news site - don't just look at the headline. The first two articles I posted were from a press release that Nintendo put out, so, you know! There you go.
