Don't pigeonhole buying demographics into cliches and blurbs, you will not be able to predict anything.

Let's see here.... this one's just about Japan, but I'll try to find more:

http://business.timesonline.co.uk/tol/business/markets/japan/article2629649.ece

Whoop! Found it!

http://www.gamepro.com/article/news/153048/nintendo-average-age-of-wii-player-is-29-years-old/

I was off by a couple of years though. D'oh!

Aha, so the majority of Wii gamers in Japan are females between the ages of 40 and 62. I told you this will save the gaming idustry from censoship.

Second link is a title, nothing more. It's like Sony sayind that they have 20+ million PSN accounts without any explanation.

Don't be obtuse, it is saying that they make up a significant demographic, which brings up the average age.

http://www.pcworld.com/article/140575/average_wii_player_is_age_29_nintendo_says.html

http://wii.qj.net/Average-age-of-Wii-owners-is-29-says-Fils-Aime/pg/49/aid/109854

When you say that the average age of your players is 29, the language there is very specific. There is no room for ambiguity. This is not buyers. It is players.

I know, can't you spot attempt at humor? It does say that most of you are women though.

Thank you for the next two links. First one, same Title news, different site. Says "average Wii player is 29".

Second comes to save the day. Says "Average Wii owner is 29". And gives a name to the quote. So, which is it, since it's clear that it's the same news/story, but different interpretation. And if it's the average Wii owner number, that I'm right :P.
