Quite a lot of people suffering from mental illness don't want to be cured.
Homosexuals also suffer from a host of other mental issues such as depression, self loathing, suicidal thoughts. Of course it is falesly blamed on society not accepting them. Oh, and gay + artist usualy equals bat shit insane too.
Certainly there are multiple causes of homosexuality. I would probably seperate them into cultural, physical, and mental. I'm concerned with the physical causes which I would blame on chemical imbalances in the brain. That's why I say it is probably curable if you treat it before puberty. After puberty and a sexual identy is reached, I think it would be much more difficult to cure.
