Squaresoft made ps1 my favorite console. All the games I've retained from that era except legend of dragoon and fear effect (which are games I purchased within the last 2 years not exactly retained) are by squaresoft. My fav game of all time (PE2) was by them too. I actually understand how many ninty fans feel about nintendo's games because thats how I used to feel about anything from squaresoft but ever since the merger, it's never been the same. This is one of the reasons why it sucks to look at them now
