Let's see, cliches I hate...I'm tired of the main guy being orphan (that's one of the reasons why I really liked SO3, where your parents not only were alive, but were key to the story by being kidnapped in the first hour), minions of the main villian that realize they were doing wrong when you kill them, your village being burned/attacked in the first hour, and the obligatory "everyone say what are we fighting for!" before facing the main villain
