You'd like MGS4 then. Outside of Chapter 3, sneaking around is merely an option. It's not mandatory like other Metal Gears. Chapter 1 and 2 you can for the most part run amok and just shoot shit up from behind cover. Chapter 4 you just run and roll from the enemy since them finding you is irrelevant. They can barely hurt you at all. Chapter 5 amounts to you getting through the first room which is as easy as taking your giant electric gun and taking out geckos, soldiers etc. In fact it's quicker and easier than trying to slink your way through the room undetected. Frankly, I think Snake did more stealth during the cutscenes than when I played as him.
