This is obviously not a proper RPG, more like an adventure game. Deep Silver don't make RPGs...Checkout their history on the PC, sure there is Longest Journey or whatever it was called but that wasn't an RPG.

Yeah I know, but nearly all the games they publish are low budget adventure games from unheard of studios. They're history leads me to believe they enter into deals with low budget developers and so they do "make the games" technically.

Deep Silver are small fry, no way they could turn out a good RPG....Very unlikely at least.

Alot of forums consider Deep Silver a good publisher based on the games they have had.

Also Gothic was a good series. And from a tech standpoint look like Risen has had alot of investment. 2 and a half years dev time to.

It's hard to look at graphics like these and say it's 'LOW BUDGET'. We have to see the game moving yet, but from svreenshots it's easily one of the best looking games this gen.
