What's the sense in multiple consoles if every console has all the same games. Beyond that, exclusives should take advantage of a said console, which IMO, is better for the gamer. It's my opinion though, not any gsct to it. I just prefer exclusives....

Gears of War
Killzone 2
Uncharted
Halo 3

These are examples of GREAT exclusives. The industry was built on what each console had exclusive under it's belt, be it peripheral, games, features. When consoles share these things, it's silly. Then there's less room for differentiation, hence why the PS3 & 360, though drastically different, are dubbed the "HD Twins"

While the awesome Wii has little - no trouble differentiating itself. It's another big reason I LOVE the Wii, I know it's an experience all by itself...

Ok, but each of those games (minus maybe Killzone 2) could be duplicated on the other console. Also it should be obvious from past efforts that Katamari won't be a power hungry game, so it's exclusivity really bares no weight on it's inherent quality. I also noticed on a personal level that many of this gen's best games are multiplatform anyways. Ultimately those two consoles may house different tech, but the end result is remarkably similiar to where exclusives are almost nothing more than a means to attract customers. From the standpoint of someone that already owns both consoles, why wouldn't you want the option to pick your favorite version of each formely exclusive game to get? Even if some turned out grossly underperforming on one console or another, it's still good to have choice in the matter.
