I typed a pretty long post and then lost my internet connection.

At the end I was going to say that the argument is impossible to resolve because 1) which console is "better" is very loosly defined and 2) it is an opinion.  However, to say that PS1 is better than the SNES in all regards is craziness in my opinion.
