It doesn't have pointer control though d21lewis, what would be the point

It uses 2 sensor bars emmiting 3D pusles very rapidly.  This is much more precise than a simple infrared pointer.  It can track any movement to very precise measurements.  This means if you have the controller in your hand, it doesn't HAVE to be pointed at the screen because any way you turn/twist/move the controller, the action would be reflected on screen.  If you twist the controller left, the cursor on screen moves left to the exact definition of the precise movement thanks to this much more advanced tracking technology.  Same if you point up/down, diagonal, twist it vertically as in turning your hand on a nob, all the actions are doable and much more accurate. This would rule so long as they get games that support it!
