Given the sales of xbox MGS ports, and costs to port games these days how the hell do you even know it would be the right finencial move.

MGS is a hardcore game good chance many owners own both consoles, going multi would not do much.

It would just piss of the MGS fanbase by watering the game down to work on 360.

 

 

 

 

 What are you talking about? People who owns both HD consoles represent less than 5% of the market. And if you didnt know MGS4 was the ONLY big 3rd party exclusive on the PS3 and the reason why it didnt release multiplatform is because the game was made before Konami could know that PS3 will only own 20% of market share this gen. That's why FF13 will be multiplatform too. So there's no way MGS5 could be exclusive.
