Kojima and Konami and Sony are probably extremely happy with the reception MGS4 got Critically and commercially. I think it's fair to assume that MGS4 will eventually outsell MGS3 and thats a big accomplishment on a smaller userbase.
I dont see any reason why Kojima would sacrifice the quality of his game when they've already made a shitload of money from the title. I can see Kojima making a new IP timed-exclusive on PS3 but Not MGS5 I actually think Sony would Moneyhat that one.
