What I find amusing is that the sony fans don't seem to see the big picture... spining discs, of any type (blue, green, purple, or HD) are NOT the future. That is the past.
The mighty blue ray disk, which can be scratched droped or snapped just like any other CD, holds a whopping 50GB. Wow, that sounds like a lot. But wait a minute...
That ultra tiny new ipod holds how much... 170GB?
How long does anyone really think it is going to be before memory sticks are the way of the future... They are becoming cheaper every day.
I believe that MS (and Nintendo for that mater) have both stuck with DVD because it is just a place holder until the majority of content is delivered via memory cards (kinda like the old cartirdge days again) or via direct download.
