i think that this is the time for the videogame industry to finally be the bigger person and get some positive press for ones.....

By bending to the will of groups like the PETA? I would say that would be a step backwards for the industry.

The gaming industry should be the bigger person and creating a game like "Vegetarian Mamma"? Even if they do not want to?

Should we have been the bigger person and listened to Jack Thomson and stop making games with violence?

Should be have been the bigger person and made friendly war games? I never knew war was friendly...

Like i said.... you have to pick your battles...Jack Thompson is an idiot and dosent base his "facts" on anicdodal evidence.... And i see absolutelly nothing wrong with adding more vegiterian dishes to cooking mama that just adds more varitety to the gameplay and does not hurt the gameplay in any way.... neather is removing the dogs from the CoD game....

Neither is anything wrong with keeping the dogs in the CoD game. Who the fuck are the PETA to tell me, you or any developer out there what they should or shouldn't do? Last I checked they weren't even an active part of the gaming industry.

This is just them trying to force their views onto everyone else. As usual...

Here is a good example of just how far these groups go.

http://www.newsday.com/news/printedition/longisland/ny-lipeta176072241mar17,0,5333870.story

A fucking Elementary School of all places... stopping children on the way out of school to preach to them about how bad circus' are and how badly they treat animals.

When I read that in my Newsday the other day I felt enough was enough.

ok first off im gonna go ahead and disregard the second par since it has nothing to do w/ the argument.

Secondly ... i dont see them forsing their vies on anyone... they were just offended by what they saw.... and that was something that can absolutelly be removed in the NEXT CoD without it hurting the gameplay in anyway... why is this such a problem?
