It's a great idea and if they have managed to get companies like EA onboard they must of proved the tech they are using to an acceptable level.
This will work fine in Japan with their super fast connections...but it will be a few years before this will be practical for many people in the UK - at least at 720p.
I love the idea of playing Crysis maxed out on a laptop or TV :)
How much do you think the service will cost?
