actually i was watching invisible wall on GT and the guy said they were shown a new built of GOW and the game was basically looked like ready to them ,,,no bug,no glitches and beautiful. more time for polishing i guess

Well concidering they've been claiming that the whole time.. i would expect so.

 

They only ever claimed 2009 in an off the cuff remark at E308, when Scott Stevenson was rambling on about all the titles they had lined up for '09.  Since then, they've said the it'll hit during their 2009 financial year, which goes up until March 2010.

@TBone: They still have some stuff to add in.  The red orb affect is nowhere to be seen as of yet, the textures will obviously be spruced up a bit more (just look at the cyclops, lol), and, as mentioned in the interview, they're still working on some of the basic game elements, like what powers Kratos should start with, when he should recieve new powers, etc.
