Well since my wife is the assistant clerk of the court.... You are best not to just blow it off. How much trouble you can get into depends on how pissed of the court gets. If they have plenty of other jurors, they might let it slide. If they have a shortage and are in a bad mood, they may reschedule and threaten you with a bench warrant. If the clerk is really in a foul mood, you could be looking at an arrest warrant. They don't often hunt you down on bench warrants. But next time a cop pulls you over, your car goes to the impound lot while you go to jail.

Oh, and judges hate smart asses. Keep that in mind.
